Shibiao WEI, Ph.D, Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Dr. Wei completed the Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Optical Engineering at Nankai University (China) in 2009 and 2012. In 2015, he was awarded the degree of PhD at Institute of modern optics, Nankai University for his thesis entitled “Plasmonic field modulation and its application in the super-resolution imaging”.
He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Shenzhen University(China), RMIT University (Australia). His recent work on surface plasmon polaritons has led to a new dimension of the dynamic manipulation of surface waves for the next generation of photonic circuits. He has published widely in prestigious journals, such as Science Advances, Optics Letters, and Applied physics letters.
Shibiao's current research interests lie in ultra-thin dynamic graphene oxide device design and its applications.
